Vision

W.A.L.K.S. Elementary School strives to provide a quality educational experience to the Mayaguez Community. We are prepared to enhance our students’ intellectual, emotional-social, physical and technological needs in a bilingual program which will prepare them for the future demands of our contemporary world.

Mission

To provide an active and evolving bilingual curriculum in accordance with our students’ needs. We encourage family and school to join efforts to enhance our students’ life-long skills.

The Center/School is licensed and accredited by the General Council of Education of Puerto Rico, which certifies that the institution has met the quality standards established as measures of excellence. Also, our school belong to Puerto Rican Association for the Education of Young Children.
